Gregory Stillman

Gregory Allen Stillman, 55, of St. Lucas, Iowa died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at his home in St. Lucas, Iowa. 

Gregory was born February 18, 1963 to Paul James and Marion L. (Alton) Stillman in Grundy Center, Iowa. He graduated from Grundy Center High School in 1981 and received his diploma for Carpentry at NICC. Greg worked for Dessels Furniture and also did carpentry jobs. He had been a member of Gospel Hall in West Union, Iowa. In his spare time, Greg enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms, rooting on his Cowboys, fishing and playing cards with friends and spending time with family and loved ones.

Gregory is survived by his longtime partner, Barbara Lucas of St. Lucas, Iowa; mother, Marion Stillman of Mason City, Iowa; brother, Randy Stillman of Fayette, Iowa; sister Christy (Jerrel) Schott of Mason City, Iowa; three nieces, Amber (Nate) Wendel, Karissa Schott and Kaylee Schott all of Mason City, Iowa; and one great-niece, Shelby Wendel.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Paul James Stillman; maternal grandparents, George and Irene Alton; paternal grandparents, Harry and Bessie Stillman; and his longtime partner, Terri Caldwell.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in West Union, Iowa.
