Ella Pearl Todd
Ella Pearl (Pearl by her preference) Todd, age 78, of West Union, Iowa passed away September 19, 2014 at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union.
Pearl was born October 31, 1935 in Riverton, Wyoming to Lon McConnell and Ella (Music) McConnell-Jensen.
She was married to Gerald “Jerry” Ronald Todd Sr. on May 16, 1953 in Cody, Wyoming. To this union four children were born. A son, Donald Leroy Todd passed away on April 11, 2014.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Gerald (Kim) Todd Jr. of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Darrell (Marie) Todd of West Union; a daughter, Dorothy (Jim) Mizelle of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; 12 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, 106 East 11th St., Waterloo, Iowa 50703.
A public visitation was held on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Burnham-Wood & S.K. Rogers Funeral Home in West Union.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
