
Andy Ciszewski
Andrew “Andy” Edward Ciszewski passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his home in West Union surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on January 30, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward Sr. and Susan (Schorsch) Ciszewski.
He graduated from high school in Chicago in 1992.
He was united in marriage to Erika Ladwig on June 18, 1994 at Northwest Fellowship Baptist Church in Chicago. Five daughters were born to this union.
Andy worked for the Fayette County Law Enforcement Center in West Union as a detention officer.
Andy loved to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed weight lifting and muscle cars.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Ossian.
Andy is survived by his wife, Erika of West Union; five daughters, Emily (Micah) Boyum, Katie, Laura, Holly, and Sarah; parents, Edward Sr. and Susan Ciszewski of Chicago, IL; brother, Edward Jr. of Chicago, IL; sister, Jennifer Ciszewski of Chicago, IL; an aunt, Carol Kuligowski; and two uncles, Robert Schorsch and Carl Schorsch.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sart Art and Robert and Violet Schorsch; and uncle John Schorsch.
A home-going service was held at 11 am on Monday, July 13, 2015, at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Ossian with Rev. Marshall Nessa officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
A public visitation was held from 3 pm until 7 pm on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Ossian.
Burnham-Wood & S.K. Rogers Funeral Home of West Union was in charge of the arrangements. 28u28
