Francisca Paris

Francisca Medina Gallardo Paris, 73, West Union, Iowa, died Friday, October 14, 2016, at Gundersen Lutheran Health Systems, La Crosse, WI.

Francisca was born on March 15, 1943, in Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, to Francisco Medina Saenz and Maria Gallardo Pinero.

Francisca worked in home health for many years and enjoyed billiards, playing guitar and singing.

She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be greatly missed by them.

Survivors include her daughter, Stacey Marie (Troy) Zietlow, Des Moines; daughter-in-law, Jonica Paris; her grandchildren, Brittney (Colten) Redig, Aubrey Paris, Kimberly Paris, Andrea Paris, Isabella Maria Zietlow; one great-granddaughter, Madison Rose Redig; four sisters, Milagro, Concepcion, Mercedes and Lucy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Francisca was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Garret Paris; one grandson, Branden Samuel and one brother, Manolo.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 am on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Holy Name Catholic Church, West Union, Iowa with a one hour visitation before Mass at the Church on Monday. Rev. Dale Rausch was the Celebrant.

Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, West Union, Iowa.

Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, West Union, Iowa helped the family with the arrangements.     43u43
